Hey! I'm Kara, the owner and creator of Kid Hooray. I live in Pittsburgh, PA with my husband and 3 (soon to be 4!) kids. I've always been a creative at heart with a particular interest in handwriting and calligraphy. It made perfect sense to take my love of letters from pen and paper to a new medium - wire and yarn.

I wanted pieces for my kid's rooms that were colorful, fun and full of life that didn't feel cheesy, generic or mass-produced. By incorporating personalization and one-of-a-kind-details into each piece, I was able to create a space that truly reflected my children's personalities and interests.
